Before the itinerary
Barcelona rewards those who look up, but also those who slow down. Instead of collecting Gaudí buildings in a single day, I spread out the visits and let walks through Gràcia and Passeig de Gràcia fill the spaces between them.
Sagrada Família
I booked around 2 pm, when sunlight crosses the stained glass and colors the interior. It is a visit that deserves time, including a moment simply to sit and observe.
Casa Batlló at night
The evening visit changes the rhythm and creates an interesting contrast with the movement of Passeig de Gràcia.
Casa Vicens
Smaller and easier to fit in, Casa Vicens reveals another phase of Gaudí’s work. Combine it with a walk through Gràcia.
